Master of English Education is one of the departments at Universitas PGRI Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The department provides the education that expands, explores, and empowers students in teaching English as the world’s lingua franca. This is in line with the nature of Universitas PGRI Semarang with its proud tradition as the centre of teacher training to serve the demand for global education.
Our department seeks to achieve the vision to reach global recognition, and we have done necessary steps to achieve that. We have cooperation with international institutions, hold seminars, symposiums, and colloquium with universities from Germany, Thailand, New Zealand and many more. We strive to provide ours students with as much learning opportunities as we possibly could.
In our academic endeavour, our students are prepared to advance their skills to analyse, plan, and conduct academic activities while carrying out teaching duties in a broad range of contexts. The program trains students to hone their skills in critical thinking and to reflect on their teaching activities. We offer extensive training to strengthen, expand, and provide a stimulating environment where students can be striving scholars.
